On the 17th of January 2019 the Dutch Consulate in collaboration with Boska, Innovation Booster and Halve Maen will organise an intimate, informal gathering of Dutch entrepreneurs (working at startups/scale-ups) in NYC. The goal is for the attendees to get to know each other, share best practices and find ways to help each other with the challenges of entrepreneurship in NYC.
The Independent music community will come together from June 17-20, 2019 in New York City for A2IM Indie Week. A2IM Indie Week is an international conference and networking event aimed at maximizing the global impact of Independent music.
The Future Food-Tech Summit on the technology, innovation and investment that is transforming the dynamics of the food sector. During the 2-day event entrepreneurs, investors and major food brands will be present to share ideas and solutions. There will be different events around the themes of innovation & investment, distribution, ingredient innovation, smart food, waste and food safety & transparency, amongst many more.

Indie Week is an international conference and networking event aimed at maximizing the global impact of independent music. The conference consists of various panels on topics such as branding, streaming strategies, the future of rights technology and much more. More details to be announced.
NYCxDESIGN, New York City’s annual celebration of design, attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees and designers from across the globe. The citywide celebration of global design unites culture, education, and entertainment with a wide array of programming, including exhibitions, installations, trade shows, talks, open studios, and more.
Taking place each May the event celebrates a world of design and showcases over a dozen design disciplines through events taking place across the city’s five boroughs.
The Edtech program is organized by the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York and the Holland Innovation Network in Boston, and is designed to get an EdTech delegation of 10 Dutch EdTech scale-ups acquainted with the US EdTech ecosystem. The mission aims to provide Dutch EdTech scale ups the opportunity to further look into expansion or business opportunities in the East Coast of the US. Throughout the visit to the US from January 29 to February 2 2018, participants will visit the two Edtech hubs in the East Coast: NY and Boston. Program elements include workshops on practical elements on expanding to the US, pitching events at Edtech meetups in New York and Boston, participation in the Learnlaunch conference in Boston, and visits to relevant universities and companies such as Pearson, Columbia, CornellTech, IBM, edX and Harvard.
